Bonfire and Fireworks Display

Lions Club of Winslow is holding its annual Bonfire & Fireworks Display in the grounds by kind permission of Winslow C of E School. Gates open 6pm. Bonfire lighting at 6.40pm. Smaller fireworks at 7pm. Larger fireworks will then follow. Hot dogs and drinks will be available.
Admission (to be confirmed) : Adults £5; children (5-15yrs) £2; no charge for children under 5yrs old.

Meet in recreation ground car park next to golf club on West Hill. MK17 8DX (GR 930358) (seagulls.install.daunting). Walking through village, fields,woodsand heathland on footpaths and tracks. No stiles, one sharp incline with steps. Good views and range of trees. 4 miles.

WENDOVER
Park in Wharf Road and meet at the Canal. Car share if you can. (HP22 6HF). GR 869082. An easy walk to start with along the Aylesbury Ring / towing path to Halton. Leaving the canal to pass church and Halton House to enter Wendover Woods. Taking good paths to skirt Halton camp. Finally a steepish descent back to Wharf Road. No stiles 5 miles.
