Planning Applications

The Town Council is consulted about all Planning Applications submitted to Buckinghamshire Council. Planning Applications are normally discussed by the Development Committee which normally meets on Tuesday every third week. Details of these meetings are shown in the Council Calendar. The Agenda for each forthcoming meeting is published at least 3 days prior to the meeting.

Whilst the Town Council considers and can comment on all applications affecting the town, the decision-making authority is Buckinghamshire Council. In reaching a decision they will take account of the Town Council's comments alongside those from neighbours and other consultees, and of course the town's Neighbourhood Plan, the area's Local Plan (Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan) and all relevant legislation, regulations and guidance.
