Electric Vehicle chargers planned for Public Hall car park

Winslow Town Council has reached an agreement with EZ-Charge who will plan, provide, operate and maintain Electric Vehicle chargers in the town's Public Hall car park. Initially there will be four parking bays with chargers, all of which will be suitable for local residents or employees to charge their vehicles over several hours. Two of the chargers will offer rapid charging (60kW/120kW) for visitors to the town centre who need to charge their vehicles more quickly. The other two will offer 11kW/22kW charging rates. The plan is for the chargers to be located alongside Elmfields Gate boundary to the left of the entrance barrier, as this will also allow for additional chargers to be installed at a later date when necessary.

To deliver these chargers a new power supply is required, and this means that the installation will be delivered in the Autumn of 2024.
