Consultation on Station area parking proposals
Buckinghamshire Council has reflected on the responses provided to its consultation at the start of 2024 about possible parking restrictions near the railway station. It found that there was support for the idea of a residents' permit parking scheme from residents of roads near the station. Road closures and traffic signals (update 1 November)
Local road closures planned in the coming weeks are as follows.
REVISED DATES : The A421 west of Finmere and A4421 south of Finmere (at Newton Purcell) have weekend closures between 6 August and 4 November, each starting at 8.30pm on the first night and reopening at 5.30am on the last morning. On the A421 these closures are 25-28 Oct. On the A4421 these closures are 18-21 Oct, 1-4 Nov.

Covid-19 vaccinations at Public Hall
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is expecting to arrange for a mobile vaccination clinic to be available again in the Public Hall car park on Wednesday 20 November (and possibly 18 December) at times to be confirmed. This clinic will offer Covid-19 vaccinations on a walk-in (no appointment) basis for those who :
- are aged 65 or over
- are pregnant

East West Rail test trains starting
Chiltern Railways have still not been confirmed as the operator for the East West Rail train service between Oxford and Milton Keynes, but they are starting the operation of test trains, and will then start driver training, with effect from Monday 21 October. There is still no confirmed date for start of passenger service on the route - but the best guess in probably September 2025.

Electric Vehicle chargers planned for Public Hall car park
Winslow Town Council has reached an agreement with EZ-Charge who will plan, provide, operate and maintain Electric Vehicle chargers in the town's Public Hall car park. Initially there will be four parking bays with chargers, all of which will be suitable for local residents or employees to charge their vehicles over several hours.
